Pro Climbing League – Event Terms & Conditions
1) Event Information
The Pro Climbing League (“PCL”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is the organiser of the Pro Climbing League London Event (“the Event”).
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2) Tickets & Entry
All tickets are sold subject to availability.
Tickets are valid only for the date(s) and session(s) specified.
Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain without the prior written consent of PCL.
A valid ticket must be produced for entry and retained at all times during the Event. Tickets or wristbands that are lost, stolen, damaged, or altered may be treated as invalid.
PCL reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee, without refund, for disruptive behaviour, safety concerns, breach of these Terms & Conditions, unauthorised commercial activity, or any conduct that interferes with the Event, its broadcast, venue operations, or Event operations.
Re-admission may not be permitted once an attendee has exited the venue.
3) Event Changes, Format & Competition Elements
PCL reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the Event schedule, programme, format, venue, athletes, presenters, or special guests where necessary.
Climbing routes, problems, holds, volumes, and competition elements may be modified, reset, adjusted, or removed at any time for safety, fairness, operational, or sporting reasons. Such changes do not constitute a material change to the Event.
The advertised participation of specific athletes, performers, or guests is not guaranteed.
4) Cancellation & Force Majeure
In the event of cancellation, PCL’s liability is limited to the face value of the ticket (excluding booking fees unless required by law).
PCL shall not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by ticket holders in connection with travel, accommodation, or other arrangements relating to the Event.
No refunds will be issued due to circumstances beyond PCL’s control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, strikes, severe weather, technical failures, or public safety incidents (“Force Majeure”).
5) Refunds & Exchanges
Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law.
Tickets may not be exchanged or transferred unless explicitly stated by the ticketing platform.
Refunds will not be issued for late arrival, early departure, missed last entry times, or failure to attend.
6) Admission, Security & Prohibited Items
All attendees may be subject to venue security procedures, including searches of persons, clothing, bags, and personal items, including enhanced searches where deemed necessary.
Refusal to comply with security searches or checks may result in refusal of entry or removal without refund.
Valid photographic identification may be required for entry, age verification, or named tickets. Failure to produce valid ID may result in refusal of entry without refund.
Prohibited items include (but are not limited to): illegal substances; weapons; fireworks; flares; smoke canisters; laser devices; large bags (larger than A4 unless otherwise permitted); animals (other than registered assistance dogs); unauthorised food or drink; chewing gum; horns, whistles, megaphones, amplification devices; promotional or marketing materials; flags or banners; marker pens or spray paint; professional recording equipment (including drones or action cameras); and any item deemed unsafe or disruptive by Event or venue staff.
Prohibited items may be confiscated. Possession may result in refusal of entry or removal without refund.
6A) Commercial Activity & Brand Protection
Unauthorised commercial, promotional, marketing, advertising, or trading activity is strictly prohibited.
Attendees may not display, distribute, or wear banners, signage, clothing, products, or materials intended for promotional or commercial purposes without prior written consent from PCL.
This includes ambush marketing and promotion of competitor beverage brands.
PCL reserves the right to confiscate prohibited items and/or remove attendees engaging in unauthorised commercial activity without refund.

7) Venue Terms & Conditions
The Event involves live climbing activities, including climbing holds, volumes, equipment, overhead structures, lighting rigs, cables, and broadcast equipment.
While safety measures are in place, there is a risk of falling objects.
Attendees acknowledge this risk and agree to remain within designated spectator areas at all times and to follow instructions from Event and venue staff.
Climbing walls and equipment are for authorised athletes only. Members of the public may not climb, touch, or use any climbing structures or equipment.
8) Arena Safety & Climbing-Specific Risks

9) Chalk, Dust & Environmental Conditions
The Event environment may contain airborne chalk or dust particles.
Attendees with respiratory conditions, allergies, or sensitivities attend at their own discretion.
10) Sound, Lighting & Sensory Effects
The Event may include loud music, amplified sound, smoke effects, strobe or flashing lights, and dramatic lighting.

11) Athlete Areas & Interaction
Interaction with athletes, demonstrations, or equipment is permitted only where explicitly authorised by Event staff.
Attendees must not enter competition, warm-up, technical, production, or restricted areas at any time.
12) Children & Supervision
Age restrictions may apply and vary by Event.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, unless otherwise specified.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times and ensuring they remain within designated spectator areas.
Under-18s must comply with venue policies and alcohol licensing laws.
13) Photography, Filming & Broadcast
The Event will be filmed, photographed, recorded, and broadcast live and/or on a delayed basis.
By attending the Event, you acknowledge and agree that you may be filmed, photographed, or recorded (including your image, likeness, voice, and appearance), whether incidentally or as part of crowd shots, audience reactions, ambient audio, or CCTV.
You grant Pro Climbing League, Red Bull, and Red Bull’s affiliates, licensees, sublicensees, and partners the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use your image, likeness, voice, and appearance in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, for live or recorded broadcast, distribution, promotion, editorial, and archival purposes, without compensation.
Personal photography and recording are permitted for private, non-commercial use only.
Live streaming, commercial use, or recording that interferes with broadcast rights or Event operations is prohibited.
PCL reserves the right to request removal of content that infringes these rights.
If you do not wish to appear on camera, please notify Event staff upon arrival. While exclusion from all footage cannot be guaranteed, reasonable efforts will be made where practicable.
14) Health, Safety & Liability
Attendees must follow all health and safety instructions provided by Event staff, venue staff, and emergency services.
Attendance is at your own risk.
Attendees acknowledge that the Event is a live sporting event involving inherent risks, including but not limited to falling objects, loud noise, crowd movement, lighting rigs, broadcast equipment, cables, and other hazards associated with live sports productions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, attendees waive any claims against Pro Climbing League, Red Bull, and their respective affiliates, partners, officers, employees, and contractors for personal injury, loss, or damage, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct and where liability cannot be excluded by law.
If you or someone else feels unwell or in the event of an emergency, immediately notify Event or venue staff.
15) Alcohol, Drugs & Behaviour
Alcohol may be available at the venue and Challenge 25 policies apply.
A strict zero-tolerance drugs policy applies. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances or suspected of supplying or using illegal substances may be refused entry, removed without refund, and reported to the relevant authorities.
Smoking and vaping (including e-cigarettes) are permitted only in designated areas.
Intoxicated, aggressive, abusive, antisocial, or unsafe behaviour will result in removal without refund.
16) Capacity Controls & Movement
Certain areas of the venue may be subject to capacity limits. Where an area is at capacity, a one-in one-out system may be enforced.
Attendees must comply with all announcements, signage, and instructions relating to crowd movement and capacity.
17) Lost Property
PCL is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Use of cloakrooms or lockers (where available) is at your own risk.
18) Accessibility
PCL aims to make the Event accessible where reasonably possible.
Attendees with accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact the venue in advance at accessibility@magazinelondon.co.uk.
19) Data Protection
Personal data collected in connection with ticket purchases and Event attendance will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and PCL’s Privacy Policy.
Personal data may be shared with Event partners, service providers, and broadcasters (including Red Bull) for the purposes of Event delivery, broadcast, security, and promotion.
Where applicable, data may also be processed in accordance with Red Bull’s privacy policies and the venue’s privacy policies.
20) Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
